remember i explained the extremely dangerous concept of ‘while i’m in there‘? the last part of my elaborate and well thought out plan to convert my favourite trail weapon into a slightly renewed favourite trail weapon.
the last missing pieces were of course the new cassette; same as the old one, an x01 10-42. there was nothing wrong with the old one, except the fact that it was a little used.
and the new chainring to go with it. this time i went with the new ‘eagle’ sram ring with the weirdly shaped teeth. see the cool eagle shaped logo?
and of course there is a new chain too. should be sooth as butter now. and looks much better than before.
