the race at dungog was actually the last in the series; i thought there was a seventh race but the round in kempsey is the championships and counted separately. so this one was for the overall series – exciting!

we also knew dungog was not really technical, so i took natalie with me for the pre-race trail preview. she like the trails and thought they were ok, so she got race numbers as well!

and ride she did! 4 trails and 4 times up the hill (i helped push a bit but she rode most of it), as any good enduro rider will know.

cool cornering (this was actually pretty tight) – and still time to smile for the camera.

the right way to roll through this fast dip – eyes up and looking at the exit.

enduro nat clocking off after ‘stans’ stage.

what can i say … second place again! not bad for her first real enduro race (and on the same trails as all the adults!).

kris on marshalling duties – we got to help our friends martin & juliane.

our home away from home, just the right place for us. natalie made friends

with the girls next door, i think we will meet them again next sunday on the beach.

and this time i was also allowed on the podium – second in the series. slow & steady. 🙂

monday was a day off here in australia and we enjoyed it on the spit of land between myall lakes and the ocean.

the nights are really cold but he mornings are beautiful.

the dunes near the ocean are spectacular.

and so is the beach.

we really don’t know why we did not get a camper van earlier and got out more … we will now.
