the frame isn’t here yet but as we mentioned before we already got a fork<\/a>. the pike is a great piece of kit, but unfortunately this one is an unbranded version, which means it’s got this somewhat bland black and very dark grey theme going on. and since this pike is going onto a classic (aqua \/ magenta) nomad<\/a> of course that simply won’t do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

good thing the right stickers can be procured. nat and i had a little job to do – while we were waiting for the frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

which, btw, seems to have been on a lengthy farewell tour of its previous home country and the christmas break didn’t help either, so we’ll have to wait a little longer yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

so while we wait we might as well do a little redecorating. this fork will look so much better with a little colour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

plus it will obviously be faster, too. all pro riders have colour coordinated bikes, there has to be a reason, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
