well, after the 400<\/a> was stolen i needed a new drug: a 2005 model ktm 450 exc.
\ni had been looking at a 2003 model 450 (cheap but a bit outdated), a 2004 model 400 (would have been ok, but the price was not right), and finally i just happened to drive by a ktm dealer and coincidentally there was this 450 in the showroom … the price seemed good. i got a little discount, too, and there is a kit with all sorts of useful things like hand & engine protectors and stuff.<\/p>\n

it took me 15 minutes to decide and buy it. and i only feel a tiny little bit guilty.<\/p>\n

sadly i never rode the bike much; i just could not get the infrastructure in place – the trailer, the tracks, the course … but at least i got a good price fro it when i sold it, before we left for australia. i was only allowed to take one bike, and that was always going to be the aprilia<\/a>, for financial reasons.
