So, after my Coral Bay journey we ventured further to 80 Mile Beach. The 80 Mile Beach is so beautiful, there are lots of kites …
(type of raptor) and beautiful shells. Did you know a group of kites is called a wake? True.
While I was there I did fun activities and watched a movie called Sammy. We got to draw bags(I use it for shell collecting), make wax wraps and learnt about boab carvings as part of the celebration of NAIDOC week.
Our last afternoon at 80 Mile Beach was on the beach, more precisely driving along the beach. Not all 80 miles of it but far enough that there were no other people around. It was beautiful; the afternoon, the sky, the shells, the sand and, and … a SHARK!!!
Yes we saw a shark in the shallows hunting fish (I thought it was a dolphin at first and wanted to go in to play with it but mum dragged me out). Our next stop was Broome but because most of it was done in the following weeks edition I will do it all then.
Bye and sorry for the short story today.
