it has been a while since we’ve flown the drone. there wasn’t really all that much to look at from above. however, the building is making really good and above all visible progress now, but we’ve found that capturing this can be a challenge from ground level. did you notice that quite a few photos were panorama pictures? that’s why: from a normal angle we would only ever be able to capture a small part.

and here is a more traditional shot, showing the new road around the house (see where we parked the disco?), which runs along the edge of the fire management zone. we’ll also have to get rid of the massive piles of – for want of a better word: crap, which a previous owner bulldozed there, and which have since been swallowed up by the bush. until now, that is, with the vegetation in the fire management zone remove they are in plain sight, and ugly as well as dangerous. that will be a big fire. nat is very excited about it …
