and here is the 250 with her new clothes, out in her natural habitat.
the first ride in the watagans, slow and steady, just to break her in softly, but on the other hand just giver her a little bit of a workout.
over the last week i’ve changed the plastics (the six days ones are stored safely in a box), added the rear indicators (and they work), installed the new seat (well that was not hard), bar, the voyager (gps multi instrument so i don’t get lost out in the bush), swingarm protectors, handguards. the handguards are a bit used and don’t work well so i got to figure out a better way to mount them and i worked out i need a new adaptor for the steering damper. not urgent, the bike steers well enough in the bush, but on the safari i will want one.
i think the seat is comfy but i don’t really know, i did not sit much today. it’s standing territory up there in the watties.
so how does she go? actually very well. i thought there would be a bigger difference to the 350 but that little thing packs quite a punch. and the 4cs forks are great, the front wheel is a solid as a rock and the forks plush as can be. wow.
i love the little 250!
