remember we sort of missed out on nat’s gravity girls clinic in thredbo due to bad weather.
the weather is infinitely better now and as an added bonus there is a little bike festival called cannonball on at the moment and we enjoy the buzz.
most big manufacturers are in town and a lot of top downhill and enduro racers are around as well. someone has started collecting signatures … on her helmet ….
so far she has: kyle strait, troy brosnan, yoann barelli, ray morrison, sian a’hern, tegan molloy, josh carlson, cindy commencal. tomorrow she’ll be hunting for greg minnaar and the rest of the syndicate crew.
incidentally i took the chairlift cup with a very nice gentleman with a south africa accent and a fairly new santa cruz hightower with reserve wheels who said it was his first time in thredbo and he was going to race downhill.
we are really enjoying ourselves. yesterday nat and i did six runs down flow and today another four and one lap of the all mountain just to mix it up.
apparently there are 900 bikers on the mountain. nice!
