shed unleashed! it’s all happening now, you can basically see the progress with the naked eye. if you squint and tilt your head slightly you can just make out the addition of the west wall and the fact that the north wall was completed today.
and if you stand there long enough it’s almost as if the panels are flying into place. not that i just ‘stood’ there and watched, kris & i actually had work to do. check this out:
the rain we had recently had started to erode the driveway where we had put the culvert in, and we like to get ahead of these issues.
see how we cleverly re-arranged those rocks from the lower side of the face wall to the higher side? this is because we know water flows downhill. our strategy is to make sure the water gets thoroughly confused as it tries to find the shortest way through the rock garden and then peacefully exits through the pipe.
we added a bit of concrete to help the rocks bond. let’s see how this arrangement fares during the upcoming rain events. the weather frogs predicted a fair bit of precipitation for friday & saturday. yay.
