we have reached the milestone of ‘peak wall’, meaning 5.5 out of a maximum of 5.5. possible walls have now been constructed.

to paraphrase our prime minister (who i believe holds the world record for asking the greatest number of unimaginative and unintelligent rhetorical questions during a single election campaign): how good are walls! well, let me tell you: they are bloody (again paraphrasing the pm who has in a previous job been responsible for one of the least successful and pointless aussie tourism ad campaigns titled ‘where the bloody hell are you’) good because they hold up the roof and keep out wind, weather as well as annoying and potentially venomous critters. we got a few of those in australia (‘how good are venomous critters?’).

anyway the walls are all done now and the peters have committed to getting the roof up by then weekend so the solar people can start working their magic and build us that elusive power plant i’ve been writing about for more than a month now.

i so want to finish this thread. please!
